Costco Co.
About Christopher:
Christopher McDonald is a community advocate, creative, and servant leader serving as Secretary and Treasurer of Indiana Pride of Color (INPOC). He combines professional leadership, caregiving experience, creativity, and a commitment to creating spaces where people feel respected, supported, and empowered.
As a former Costco supervisor, Christopher developed experience in team leadership, communication, accountability, problem-solving, and daily operations. His caregiving background has strengthened his patience, compassion, reliability, and ability to listen and respond to others’ needs—qualities that guide both his professional work and service with INPOC.
A Southport High School graduate, Christopher developed an early appreciation for teamwork and creative expression through school, church, and community dance teams, as well as track. He continues to express his creativity through poetry as both a reader and writer.
Christopher also communicates in American Sign Language (ASL), reflecting his commitment to accessibility and meaningful connection. As a member of the LGBTQIA+ community, he brings a personal perspective to his advocacy for representation, belonging, and authentic self-expression.
In his INPOC role, Christopher supports governance, financial stewardship, and organizational growth while helping strengthen INPOC’s presence within Indiana’s BIPOC LGBTQ+ community.
